2 Of us are travelling through China in July. Our journeys are many and long, are there any passes we can buy that would suit these trips, 1.Beijing-Datong, 2.Datong-Huashan, 3.Huashan-Bengbu-Huangshan, 4.Huangshan-Shanghai?

The pass do not work for your trips. They only available for some appoint short routes like BJ to Tianjin, SH to Nanjing and GZ to Zhuhai etc.

Thanks Karl. Would you happen to know the best way to get from Huashan to Huangshan?

You can try to go from Huashan to Hefei and then Hefei to Huangshan. but for both trip, there are only normal slow rail type available, thus would take a long time. You can check the schedule on this website. If you are tight in time, maybe can think about to go from Huashan to Xian by rail and then fly to Huangshan.
