About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

The 72hr visa free waiver mentions transiting to another country or "region"

If I fly from Seoul to Guangzhou then need to fly 26hrs later from Guangzhou to Kathmandu, do I qualify? Are they in the same region?

Yes, you qualify for it. They are not in the same region.
