About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Medical Required before Working in China?

I am going to Beijing in August to teach English, the company that is employing me are applying for my work Visa. Do I need a Medical including ECG and Chest X-ray before I travel or can this be done When I come. I will be in Beijing for a academic year.

Tom, you should take a physical examination before your travel at the designated hospital. This medical report is to be used by the company to get a working permit for you, so that you can get the work Z type entry permit.
