Am I eligible for a 72 hour transit in Beijing?

Hi there,
I have bought a one way ticket from seoul to beijing arriving at 12.35am and also a one way ticket from beijing sydney which departs at 9pm same day so I'm in beijing for approx 21 or so hours. I purchased these tickets separately so I can see the great wall.
