About:China Visa

S2 visa to X type, applying to macau or hongkong

wanna ask if it is possible to apply my son's S2 to X type without exiting? the school we inquired said he must do and exit.

but i wanna save money for plane tickets so want to know if it's possible or any cases that the entry exit bureau allowed this instance.

Chirs, there is a chance that you can change it within mainland at the local exit and entry administration office. You can give a try. If your attempt turns out in vein, you have to leave and apply for the X type.

Hi Angelo. Thanks for the reply. I found a school who can do the visa change without doing the exit but the other one needs to. Thank you for assurance. Helped a lot.
