About:Chinese Consulate in Chicago

I do not plan on staying at one hotel during my visit. How do I prove reservations?

Richard from Wisconsin, USA: I am just beginning to research the requirements of visiting China. I do not want to stay at just one hotel. Can I book a hotel for a few days and then transfer to another hotel once I am there and know the environment. I don't even know which cities I want to visit. I am looking at the very southernmost island. Thank you in advance!

It's ok for you to change your hotel. After you book your hotel, you will receive a confirmation letter. This letter can be used to prove that you have reserved your hotel.
