Baggage storage at Terracotta Warriors

If I can catch a bus direct from the train station to the museum, is there somewhere I can leave our baggage at the museum, as I won't be checking into my hotel until later?

Yes, you can storage the luggage in the ticket & service counter of the museum. I remember it is right close to the ticket office.
