About:Forbidden City

Best time to visit Forbidden city

I am visiting Beijing in Labor Day Holidays and planning to visit Forbidden City. Can you tell me that when (timings) should I visit the place to avoid crowd. I can visit it the earliest time in the morning, if I can know that it would be not crowded. Thanks.

It is one of the most popular attractions in the city. As I know, it is always very crowded. My suggestion is that go to queue up in the early morning and enter the palace early (the open time is 08:30). In this way, you can enjoy the empty and quiet palace for a short time, because it will get crowded soon.
