About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Austrian citizen on long vacation in Japan - L-Type visa for China

Hello,
I am an Austrian citizen on a long vacation in Japan. I have a visa, which permits a 90 days stay. A Chinese friend of mine lives in Beijing and I can stay at his place, so therefore I have to apply for a L-type. What does his letter of invitation need to cover, what has to be in it: adresse, name, copy of ID etc.? And in which language it has to be written, in Chinese or English?

Fabian, the letter should cover the following information:
1. Your information (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
2. Information on the planned visit (arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, etc.)
3. His information (name, contact telephone number, address, signature)

The letter can either be in English or Chinese.
