About:China Visa on Arrival

enquiry about VOA for HK.

Hello,
I am Dhiraj, I am basically from India. My question is that, if my Chinese VISA is over, can I stay at HK for 3-4 days on VOA? After HK tour I want to go back India. So tell me is that possible. Now I am stay at Wuhan for my study purpose but after June my current entry permit is over and my friends are coming in Wuhan for attend 12 days summer school. Then we are planning that we will go for visit HK for 3-4 days. SO, can I get VOA for 3-4 days for visit HK.

Dhiraj, as you are holding Indian passport, you can stay in Hong Kong for up to 14 days without the HK entry permit.

Thanks Cindy, but is that possible after expiration (time period) of my entry permit. I can stay at Hong Kong on VOA for 14 days. Because I don't have much more idea about VOA. Any relation/difference between mainland Chinese and HK entry permit(VOA). Cindy thanks alot for your reply.

Hey, they are different. The Chinese entry permit is only for mainland. For HK, you don't need to apply because you enjoy 14 days exemption for entry permit. You need to exit before the Chinese one expires and then enter HK.
