About:Chinese Consulate in Auckland

We are travelling to Shanghai 27th August and returning to New Zealand 18th September.

Do we need a letter of invitation from our son who is working in Shanghai before we proceed in getting our entry permit?

Hi, Glen, if you can provide an invitation letter from your son, then you don't have to book hotels and flights before doing the application. Therefore, I suggest you get this letter from him.
