But the direct buses also take 5.5-6h and they can be taken at local Tianhe Bus Station. I have a good suggestion:take a high speed train from the Guangzhou East Station to Chaoshan in around 3.5h. Then transfer to the direct shuttle bus to your destination in around 70min.

Take a fast g class trainer on Guangzhou south station to Chaoshan which is 20 minute drive from Shantiu
