About:Shantou Transportation

How can I go to Shantou from Guangzhou?

It is too expensive for me to get there by air. And the train take about 8 hrs. So the bus should perfect for me . Do u know where is the bus station in Guangzhou?

But the direct buses also take 5.5-6h and they can be taken at local Tianhe Bus Station. I have a good suggestion:
take a high speed train from the Guangzhou East Station to Chaoshan in around 3.5h. Then transfer to the direct shuttle bus to your destination in around 70min.
