what are the requirement to obtain tourist visa to HK? i am a Nigerian citizen

Leonard, I am afraid that Chinese embassy in your country doesn't issue L type. According to its website, just M, Z, F, X1 and X2 are issued.0

Then what do I do then in other to obtain a visa to Hongkong for 14 days visit or 30 days?

Leonard, you can apply for the HK entry permit through the embassy in Nigeria or directly through the HK Immigration Department by mailing application. The application documents include:
Application form (ID 1003A)
Your recent photograph (affixed on page 1 of the application form ID 1003A)
Photocopy of your passport
Photocopy of proof of your financial standing, e.g. bank statements, savings accounts passbooks, tax receipts, etc. and proof of employment (if any), e.g. company leave letter, salary slips, etc.
Photocopy of proof of transportation arrangement, e.g. flight itinerary
Photocopy of proof of the proposed leisure visit to Hong Kong, e.g. receipt of joining a package tour to Hong Kong, itinerary, etc.0
