About:Exit Regulations of China

So can I take out 8000 euro in cash, which came into China as a wire transfer from abroad?

Do I need the Foreign Currency Holding Permit from my bank and this money needs to be declared at Customs, right?

Elias, 8000 Euros equals 8565.6 USD. It exceeds the limit, 5000USD. So you need to acquire the foreign currency holding permit from the bank. Yes, you should declare it at the customs. The oficers will let you pass after checking the holding permit.
