About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Holding a Ghanaian Passport. I wanna visit HK for 5 days. Do I need a visa to enter HK?

Hello. Am William. Living in the Philippines for 2 years now. I have a student type. Thank u.

Hi William, the entry permit is required. You can either get it through the Chinese embassy in the Philippines or through the HK Immigration Department directly.

Alright. I have a student type thou. And u mean I can enter HK but will need to apply one when I get there?

Nope, you need to apply one from Chinese embassy or HK Immigration Department before you go from Philippines to HK. If the embassy issues the entry permit, you wait for 4 working days. If it is the immigration department, it takes four to six weeks.
