About:China Student Visa

is it possible to convert an X student visa into a Z type in China upon completion of my studies?

And can i travel with my 2 children on an X type to go and study?

Theodora, it is possible to convert the X type into a Z type when in mainland China. However, it is not easy to do so. In many cities, if you want to get the Z type, you should hold a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of work experience. If you do not satisfy the requirements, you may not get the Z type.

In addtion, you can apply for S types for your two children to accompany your during your study period.
