Hi, you may need the following documents: your passport which is valid for at least six months and has two or more blank pages, a copy of the passport’s photo page, a filled-out application form affixed with your recently-taken colore bare-headed photo, the original and photocopy of your Thai residence permit, round way tickets and hotel reservations, a personal statement, and a bank statement of the latest six months.

Thanks helen for your reply. But after submitting all these at the embassy here in bangkok, they asked me for a letter from the government of china because I am travelling first time and cannot produce an old entry permit proof as well. They said its a new rule and I have to travel from India first time if I want to travel from Bangkok again.

Can you advise regarding the same and do you know anything about it ?

Ah, if so, I think you have to get the invitation letter from a Chinese Tourism Bureau with the help of travel agencies.
