About:Visa Policy of China

Can I get out of the airport to visit Hong kong during my 7 hrs. Transit to Bangkok

I will fly from Johanesburg and arrive HK at noon and wait for 7 hrs transit to Bangkok. I plan to visit my friend in HK station by using AE. Can I go from airport and leave my hand luggage at the airport before pass the custom ? From Jean thailand

So you must have valid Thai passport, right? If so, you enjoy 30 days free stay in HK. It's ok for you to exit the airport to meet your friends. You can deposit your luggage at the airport. It costs HKD12 per hour.
