how to get hunan university from mawangdi han tomb? by public transport

I have from 2pm to 2am to lose in Changsha. I was thinking to visit the Tomb then  head to the university area. I have read that there is many resturants, caffes and bars in the area. Should i go spend the evening near the university? is it far from the train station? If you have better ideas please tell me.

From the tomb site, there is no direct transport mode. You are suggested to take a taxi, which may cost you CNY30.The university is not far from the railway station, about 4.2 miles. Lipeng special Line and Tourist bus line 1 can get you to the train station. Or take a taxi instead, which may cost you CNY17 around.The surrounding university area is a good place to spend the night. Or you can go to Huangxing Road pedestrian street, which is one of the most prosperous areas in the city. From Mawangdui, you can take bus 122 to Changjun Middle School, and then get there on foot.
