About:China Family Reunion Visa

Previous Q1, but no longer in China

I am a holder of EU passport, and had a Q1 type last. Now I am not in China and it will expire in 5 days. What should I do? I dont have the marriage certificate with me, so I think I need to apply for a L type. Can I then apply for the Q1 at the PSB in Shanghai? what are my options! please help
Thanks

If you don't have the marriage certificate, I am afraid that you can't extend your Q1 type successfully. If you can't get back to Shanghai in five days, then you just need to apply for another type from Chinese embassy in your country according to your purpose.
