I think it is hard for you get a hotel of favorable price, during canton fair, all the hotels double or tripple their prices, it is legally allowed by the government.

You can go to Home Inn. It's around 1.3 miles away from the east railway station. The price is CNY 200 to 300 per night. And the living environment is clean. The address is 613 North of GZ Avenue.
From the airport to the hotel, take subway line 3 and get off at Yantang Station. Then transfer to line 6 to Tianpingjia Station, Exit B. After arriving, walk west along Xinghua Road and then walk north along North GZ Avenue. The total walking distance is about 560 yards.

Yes, you can take bus no. 560 at the East Railway Station, and get off at Xinghua Road Crossing Station. Then walk north around 250 yards and you can see the hotel.

However i have decided to heading to meizhou straighway.. So im not staying at GZ.. I just booked a soft seat from T type train from this website.. Just wondering about my luggage., as its quite big as im from international flight.,
