Ranga, if you go there for tourism purpose, you need to apply for a tourist entry permit. The first step is to prepare the required materials including copy of your passport, a passport-style photo, the application form, proof of your financial support, hotel reservation, flight itinerary and your travel plan.
Next step is to submit the application to the embassy of PRC to apply for it.
