About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

My 60-days-old child has been refused a Chinese Visa, why could that be?

My son is 60-days-old, and he and I are citizen of the U.S.. My husband is PRC citizen and he has submitted an authorized letter to help me to apply one for our son. But somehow I gotten known that our son has been refused at this time. I was wondering why could it be refused?

Shan, did your husband acquire the green card before your son was born? If he didn't, then your son should apply for a Chinese Travel Document instead. I guess this is the reason why his application was turned down.
