About:

Time required - Shanghai Airport to the South Station

Hi,

I need to go from Pudong Airport to the South Station. I want to go to Yiwu.

I read that that if I take the train, line green no.2 from the airport to "peoples square" and then change to the red line no.1, I can get to the south railway station, is this an option? And how long will this trip take?
I'll be doing this trip on the 1st May.

If you take airport shuttle bus, it takes 90-100min to get to the South Railway Station.

The subway transfer you mentioned above is correct. It takes 85-90min and costs CNY7 per person.

BTW, direct buses to Yiwu from PVG are available. there The schedules are 8:50, 11:30, 14:10 and 17:10. It takes around 4.5 hours.
