About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I am planning to go Shanghai as an exchange student. Will I have problems because of the visa?

Hello, Im from Mexico City. I want to travel around Asia (outside of China) as a tourist, but i need to arrive to Shanghai first to leave my belongings.

Hi Eduardo, if you fly from Mexico to Shanghai and then fly out to a third country, it's likely that you can use the 72-hour free transit service. By this way, your single-entry X type permit will not be consumed.
