About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Just to double check: would 72 hours free transit work?

- I'm flying from Kaohsiung (Taiwan) to Hangzhou.
- Three days later I'm flying from Hangzhou further to Amsterdam.
(Two different tickets)

It seems this schedule qualifies for the 72-hour scheme, however the latter ticket is a one-way one. I had to construct the journey this way in order to have a layover in Hangzhou. Although I read in the description that it's not allowed to use 'single journey' tickets, I'm not sure if that description is what is meant here.

Also, I intend to stay in Wenzhou for two days (also in Zhejiang province). According to the description, you're allowed to travel in Zhejiang province when you use the Hangzhou 72-hour transit.

Hi Paul! As long as your seat and the departure date are confirmed in accordance with the flight ticket to Amsterdam, the free transit policy will work for you. It’s not required that you have to use “single journey” tickets.

You are allowed to travel within Zhejiang province when using the Hangzhou 72-hour free transit.
