how far in advance to renew my china passport? am i able to get it renewed at toronto?

Hi, I am currently studying in Canada as international student, my passport is about to expire in 10 months, should I apply to renew now or should I have to wait for about 6 months before the expiry? Can I get my passport renewed at Toronto Consulate Office? thank you in advance.

Hi Jenny! According to the information on the website of the consulate, you can renew the passport within one year before its expiry date. If you live in the consular district of the Toronto Consulate, then of course you can renew your passport there.
