Hourly lounge in domestic terminal, Beijing Capital Airport

I have a long wait between my intention flight into PEK and my connecting domestic flight to Weihai. I have been told that I need to collect my luggage after the international leg and re-checkin for the domestic leg. Once I do that I have a 5-6 hour wait. Is it true that I will not be able to access the Hourly Lounge that is in the Internation Terminal and , if so, is there anywhere I can take my children to rest while we wait?
