staying at Pudong Area in Shanghai need to travel to Beijing Forbiden City which station I need

I am staying at Pudong Area in Shanghai need to travel to Beijing Forbidden City which station I need to go for High Speed Train Station in Shanghai. And which Hotel that nearest to Forbiden City and how far by Taxi. Thanks

All high speeds depart from Shanghai Hongqiao and arrive at Beijing South. So many hotels near Forbidden City such as Hotel Kapok Wanchenghuafu International.

hostels are also good...Downtown Backpackers in the busy hutong of Nan Luo Gu Xiang is very very good and has low priced private rooms with good wifi and breakfast included. Easy to catch taxis everywhere or subway at end of the street
