overstaying. how much would the fine be? does it vary from different cities?

My friend left here school and her boss cancelled her residence permit. She didn't know that it has been cancelled 1 month ago. now she wants to go back home.

Mazy, I don't think that his boss was capable of cancell his resident permit. He could have cancelled his work permit only. Anyway, I think he should go to local entry and exit management bureau immediately. He could have been fined. But I don't think he will be detained if he explained what happened.

They registered to the local police and after 2 days a police called because in their system it showed cancelled. How much would the fine be? Shes in tangshan now.
