May, you can rearrange your time if you are really busy. However, filial piety is observed by Chinese people. They'd put all things they are doing to worship their ancestors on important occasion, I mean, tomb-sweeping festival.

You know, I am a Chinese. In my area, we don't go to worship our ancestors on the festival. Our tradition is to do this ahead of the festival. So different places might have their own traditions to observe.

hay MAY
i think it is absolutely fine if you wanna tomb sweeping in a separate day...
the point of this feast holiday is showing the respect to the past relatives.
therefore, i believe, if you carry your sincere heart with respectful to the past tombs, they will still get your feelings all the time...
best wishes
