Picking up my Passport, will this be a problem?

I visited the New York office and handed in my passport, I was told to come back on Thursday. As I live in CT, I won't be able to get back there until Monday.

Jon, it is OK for you to pick up your passport on Monday. The consulate usually keeps the passport of applicants for one month or so if they are unable to collect it in time.
