About:Hong Kong Airport Express

Group of 10 arriving HKIA at 1:45 am weekday

and will go to Macao taipa; whats the best route (Sea) to arrive macao early morning. Via HK ferry? Regarding land transport what can you advise regarding purchase of train ticket staying in hongkong for 3days.

Yes, taking ferry is the best way for you to Macao from HK Airport.
However, the schedules are 10:15, 12:00, 14:00, 15:15, 17:00, 20:00 and 21:30. It just take around 50 mins on the way.
So upon landing, you are suggested to take a rest at the airport and find a nearby restaurant to have your breakfast. Then enjoy your trip to Macao.

About the transportation in HK, you can buy HK Airport Express Travel Pass. This card contains one or two Airport Express single journey(s) plus 3 consecutive days of unlimited travel on MTR. So you can save some money from the transportation.
