About:Chinese Consulates in South Korea

How to get entry permit for conference in China for foreigner living in South korea?

Hello,

I am Indonesian, I am a student at Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea.
I will attend the conference in Beijing, China for two days at 17-18 May 2015.

I have questions about making visa:

1. Can I apply visa in CVASC Busan? If I can, could you tell me how to go to CVASC Busan from Busan Station? (I think I will use train from Daegu to Busan)
2. What are the complete requirements for making this entry permit?
3. What is the type that I have to request?
4. I have invitation letter, so can I apply without itinerary proof (round-trip tickets, hotel reservations, travel plans, etc)?

Hello Nurofik! I’d like to share some information with you.
1. You can apply in CVASC Busan! The center is located at 5th Floor, C1 Haeundae I'PARK 1408 U-dong, Haeundae-gu. You can search the route from Busan station to there through Internet.
2. To get the entry permit, you should first prepare all necessary documents, which may include your passport, a copy of your passport’s data page, a filled-out application form with your personal color half-length photo stuck on it, the original and photocopy of your ARC card, and an invitation letter from the conference organizing committee. Then go to the CVASC to submit the application.
3. You should apply for an F type.
4. The itinerary proofs are not required.

And I heard that the background color of the photo should be white, is it right? or is it okay with the other color?
