About:Huangshan Travel

Possible? Up to Beihai hotel of Mt. Huangshan after arriving at Tunxi at 15:25

Hello All,

I am planning to come from Shanghai with the 14:20 plane which arrives at 15:25 in Tunxi.
I have seen that the cable car closes at 16:30.

Do you think it is possible to go to the Beihai hotel the same night? If I am late for the cable car, is it still possible to walk by foot after 16:30?

As I know, the scenic area is close around 16:30. As long as you can get a ticket before its closing, you can surely climb to the top in 2-3h.

Just to be sure that I understand:
- can I get a ticket from somewhere else (online buying?) and then can I enter the HS area after 16:30
- or should I enter the area before 16:30, otherwise having to wait for the next morning

If you arrive at the scenic area after 16:30, there is no way to get into the park. Then stay in a hotel at the foot of the mountain and go up in the next day.
