About:Chinese Embassy in Ecuador

L type visa Length

Hi there

I am a dual British and Australian citizen. I will be in Quito for one week in late July, and will be requiring a Chinese L class tourist entry permit to last me from 10 October - 26 December 2015. I believe this means I would need to obtain a 6 month tourist type, and that you can process this quickly (for an additional fee). Can you please provide me with some more information on all this?

Thanks

Hi, Michael! It’s OK for you apply it in July but only go to China in October. However, you don’t need to apply for a 6 month type because your stay is less than 90 days. I think you should apply for a 3 month type instead. The process normally takes four working days. If you use express service, it will be two to three working days. In addition, the entry permit takes effect from the date of issuance, so you need to keep an eye on “enter before” printed on the paper and make sure that the paper will not expire before your trip.

Hi there
I will be staying in China from October - late December. Does the visa only need to be valid upon my entry into PRC or does it still need to be valid when I leave?

Also, can you please confirm that you are able to issue 6 month tourist type?

Cheers
Michael

1. The entry permit only needs t be valid upon your entry.
2. I'm afraid that the embassy won't issue 6 month tourist type entry permit.
