About:Baggage Allowance for Chinese Domestic Flights

baggage check in during stopover

Good day!My parents are coming to Chengdu, China from Manila, Philippines. Upon arriving here, they will have a two hour stopover in Jinjiang. Same is true when they return to the Philippines. My question is, will they have to claim their baggage upon stopover at Jinjiang and check in the same baggage for their flight to Chengdu?

If they hold joint ticket, they can apply for luggage check through service. Thus they don’t need to claim it during the stopover. If not joint ticket, they need to reclaim it in the transit.
