accommodation in xishuangbanna

Question

Hi I'm planning on being in Xishuangbanna from around 12th April to 18th April to take in the water splashing. Unfortunately seem to have left it late to book accommodation, given I had a few issues with getting a visa. I can't find anywhere cheap online with availability in Jinghong. Does anyone know of any cheap hostels/guesthouses that aren't online, either in Jinghong or the surrounding villages, which maybe have a phone number? If not what are the chances/best way of finding somewhere cheap to stay once I arrive in Jinghong? Don't mind staying somewhere nearby Jinghong, just don't know where would be the best bet. Any help appreciated!!

Hey, try to search these two:1. Gaozhuang Meigonghe Inn. It is located in no. 18 building, Jingliang Village, Xishuangjing, Gaozhuang, JH.2. Langsina Inn. It is located in no. 5 building, Jingde Village, Xishuangjing, Gaozhuang. Just hurry up.Another suggestion is that you can post this on the forum. Maybe there you can get more useful info. Thanks for those suggestions - will check them out now. Problem I'm having is that smaller places don't seem to have phone numbers, online booking ect and places that do are obviously the bigger hotels so are expensive, so hard to know what to do apart form turn up at smaller places and hope... I'll also try posting in the forum and see what happens. Thanks for your help!
