About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Australian Citizen. Tickets purchased. Do I qualify for 72 hr Visa pls.

W're arriving from Aust to Beijing 20th June 5:30am & depart Beijing 23rd June 3pm for UK. Sightseeing just Beijing.

Jane, the calculation method of the "72 hours" in Beijing is sort of obscure. According to some passengers, it starts from the midnight after passengers' arrival. However, some say they called the immigration authorities and was told that the "72 hours" start from the schedule arrival time. So I think you had better try to change the tickets to make your trip guaranteed.
