Hotel rooms in China

I heard that all hotel rooms, including, 4 or 5 star hotels in China are budget with no audio and video equipment, please can someone let me know if this is true?

No, that's not true. Audia may unavailable, but most of the hotels are facilitated with video equipment as I know.
