Take a train to Jiaozuo first. From Beijing, there are four schedules per day. Duration is aout 8 hours. You can check the schedule and ticket fare on this website. Upon arrival, walk northwards about 1000 yards to the nearby Tourism Bus Station to take a direct bus to get there. Good luck~

By bullet train, I suggest you take a G train from Beijing West to Zhengzhou first in 3h and 15min. Then rent a car or van to the scenic area for all convenience and it costs around CNY800. If you prefer public transportation, go to Zhengzhou Central Bus Station near the main railway station to take a direct bus to the mountain in around 2h.
