Criminal History - Do I need a Visa for Hong Kong?

I have a criminal history, convicted in 2013 for fraud of under $8k. Will I be able to enter Hong Kong for 10 days as a tourist or will I need one to enter?

Australians enjoy 90 days free stay in HK if they go there for a visit. I personally think that you need not apply in avance.
