How many 72 hour Visas are permissable?

Am I planning on going to Shanghai, Bangkok and Bangalore. If I fly from Canada to Shanghai, Shanghai to Bangkok, Bangkok to Bangalore, Bangalore to Shanghai, can I claim the 72 hour visa when I first arrive in Shanghai and then again before I return to Canada? Is there a restriction on the number of 72 hour free transit in any period? If so what are those restrictions? Many thanks in anticipation.

Paul, there is no limit on how many times you can enjoy 72 hours free transit. As long as you have valid passport and air tickets in your hands, which can prove that you leave within 72 hours, you can enjoy this policy.
