About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Multiple entry, no visa?

I have a Japanese passport, and I know that I can stay in China without entry permit for max. 14 days. I am planning to go somewhere out of China within the first 10 days, and come back again for may be 3 days. Do I have to apply in this case or does it not matter?

Mai, theoretically you can acquire another 14 days of free access. However, you might be stopped by the immigration officers because they might suspect you make use of free stay policy to avoid applying for Chinese entry permits.

So I think you might apply for a single entry at "somewhere" you referred in case you are refused to enter.
