Tourist (L) Visa - Length of stay

Hi,

I'm a British national wishing to travel to China for up to 90 days this summer. What is the maximum length of stay for a Tourist type (inc. multiple entries)?

FYI, I've previously traveled to the Mainland on two separate L types (30 days each) and one M type (90 day), and have never overstayed.

Cheers

Joe, generally speaking, the maximum length of L type is 45 days or 60 days. The embassy seldom issues L type with a stay length of 90 days. Since you have obtained China entry permit before for three times, so I think the consular officer will take it into consideration and give a relatively long period.

Anyway, if you are only granted 30 or 45 days, you can extend it before it expires after entering.
