About:Requirements for China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Is my daughter still a citizen? My daughter is adopted from China.

I have heard that she still retains her Chinese citizenship even though she is now an American citizen. She is under 18.

Hi Cece, according to the Chinese nationality law, once a citizen obtains the nationality of other countries, it means he or she gives up PRC nationality. So your daughter does not own PRC nationality now.
