am I not eligible as I will be arriving from the same place as leaving i.e. Hong Kong?

Hi,
I will fly Miami-Dubai-Hong Kong - I then need to get to Guangzhou which I presume will be via Beijing where I will stay for 2 days then fly back the same route.

Claire, it's a pity that you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit programme.
