is the station emei the same as emeishan?

Question

We wish to travel from Chengdu to Emei or Emeishan where we would stay for a day,  then to travel from Emei or Emeishan to Kunming.

You must refer to the railway station, do you? They are two different stations. If you are going to visit Mt. E’mei, you should get off at Emeishan Station. It is nearer to the mountain.
