About:Meili Snow Mountain

BUS FROM SHANGRI-LA to Meili Snow Mountain

Hi! I woud like to know if I can take a local bus from Shangri-la Old Town to the Mountain, if you know where to take it, how long it will take and schedules to go and back to plan my trip.

I'm afraid there is no direct bus from the town to the snow mountain. Then you are advised to take a direct bus from local Long-distance Bus Station to Deqin in 4-5h first (I remember buses are available at 07:20, 08:20, 09:20 and 12:00). Then the mountain is around 35mi away. It would be best to rent a car to tour for a round trip and it costs around CNY200.
