bus from shangri-la to meili snow mountain

Hi! I woud like to know if I can take a local bus from Shangri-la Old Town to the  Mountain, if you know where to take it, how long it will take and schedules to go and back to plan my trip.Thanks a lot in advance!

I'm afraid there is no direct bus from the town to the snow mountain. Then you are advised to take a direct bus from local Long-distance Bus Station to Deqin in 4-5h first (I remember buses are available at 07:20, 08:20, 09:20 and 12:00). Then the mountain is around 35mi away. It would be best to rent a car to tour for a round trip and it costs around CNY200.
