About:Chinese Embassy in Russia

Do I need to apply in person??

I am a UK national with a residency document (vid na zhitelstvo) in Russia. I live thousands of miles from the embassy in Moscow! Even the nearest consulate is 800 miles away in Irkutsk! Can I get a Chinese visa by post or courier??

Ben, the mail application is not accepted. Normally speaking, if you are unable to go to the embassy in person, you can entrust others or agents to go to the consular office and do the application for you. You can confirm this by calling 007-499-9518435 between 15:30 to 18:00 from Monday to Friday.
